Water treatment container for pesticide filtration!
At Peeters, we are proud to introduce a new customized project where our advanced water treatment container is used to filter pesticides and chemicals from surface water, among other things.
After filtration, the pure water is infiltrated into the soil, through a process automated by us where everything can be followed remotely / online.
So here we have provided water treatment from A to Z, including pumps, variable speed drives, control cabinets and fittings.
This project includes a number of steps, each of which plays an important role in the purification and infiltration process.
- This project was realized in collaboration with;
- Freshwater farmers
- Klaas Schenk of Hoeve Lotmeer
- Vince kaandorp of Deltares
- Pieter Vlaar of Vertify
- Maurice Meeste of Pipelife
STEP 1 - Frequency controlled lifting pump
- The first step in our process is the use of a frequency-controlled lifting pump, which pumps water from the outside basin and passes it through the water treatment plant.
- Energy efficient - The frequency-controlled pump optimizes energy consumption.
- Constant water pressure - Ensures stable water pressure during the pumping process.
- High capacity - Pumps up to 21,000 liters per hour at a pressure of 4.5 bar.
- Empty detection - Integrated basin empty detection to prevent dry running.
- Online monitoring - Both the pressure and water level in the basin can be monitored online.
- Automatic pump monitoring - With an IP66 variable speed drive for reliable operation.
STEP 2 - Sand filter
- The sand filter removes coarse organic contaminants from the water.
- Automatic backwash - Ensures efficient and maintenance-free operation.
- Adjustable flushing frequency - Flexibly adaptable to conditions.
- Maintenance-free - Minimal maintenance requirements.
- Modular flow rate - Suitable for various capacities.
- Various filter media - Different Mu values available for optimal filtration.
- High performance filtration - Up to 5 Mu accuracy.
STEP 3 - Activated carbon filter
- The activated carbon filter removes chemical contaminants, odor and color from the water.
- Automatic rewind - For continuous operation without manual intervention.
- Refillable and recyclable - Activated carbon can be regenerated for reuse.
- Effective against contaminants - Removes benzene compounds, pesticides, pesticides and herbicides.
STEP 4 - UV Lamp
- The UV lamp treats the water for bacteriology, providing safe disinfection without chemicals.
- Continuous disinfection - Ensures constant drinking water quality.
- No chemicals required - Environmentally friendly solution.
- Long lifespan - Lamps last up to 9000 hours.
- Low cost - Efficient treatment with low operating costs.
- High capacity - Treats up to 14,000 liters per hour.
- User-friendly - Touchscreen operation for easy control.
STEP 5 - Infiltration level control and measurement.
- The treated water is infiltrated through an infiltration well, with accurate monitoring and measurement.
- Precise control - Water column height is controlled to the nearest centimeter.
- Remote adjustable - Can be set and measured remotely.
- Automatic shutdown - Possibility of automatic shutdown after reaching the daily limit.
- Real-time monitoring - Water level in the infiltration well is readable and adjustable.
- Water Samples - Tap point available for taking water samples after treatment.
With these advanced steps and technologies, this water treatment container provides effective and sustainable water treatment, making an important contribution to cleaner surface water and a better environment.
