De-ironing plants
Remove iron (Fe), lime (CA, MG) and other heavy metals such as manganese (Mn) from your groundwater with Peeters Technical Solutions’ de-ironing systems.
The installations are suitable for garden irrigation but also for industrial and agricultural applications.
Purified groundwater is healthier and safer for your livestock.
In addition, it ensures that your garden, crops and terraces stay clean longer.
Groundwater treatment and de-ironing plants.
Groundwater often contains high concentrations of iron (Fe). This can cause water to leave a strong rust-brown color when sprayed and causes your water to have an unpleasant odor and taste. In addition, groundwater also contains high levels of lime and manganese. Thanks to our de-ironing systems, you will never again suffer from lime or other heavy metals in your water. Based on your water consumption and an analysis of the groundwater, we calculate the appropriate de-ironing installation for your situation. Thanks to our extensive range of de-ironing installations, we always have a suitable solution. Thanks to the unique control valve, our de-ironing installations have a high flow capacity and are therefore very suitable for situations where large flow rates are required.

Our de-ironing
Our de-ironing plants are designed for applications where high flow rates are required.
The plants operate on the basis of ion exchange where iron, manganese and lime are removed as they pass through the resin cylinder.
When the resin cylinder is saturated, it is automatically regenerated with sodium salts (brine).
Our solutions are available in various sizes and configurations.
A unique feature of our water treatment plants is that both versions each use only one type of control valve, allowing them to be placed simplex, duplex parallel or even triplex parallel.

How do our de-ironing systems work?
Our de-ironing plants work by ion exchange. Inside the plant is a resin cylinder, these balls of synthetic resin are saturated with sodium ions. When groundwater flows past the resin, the magnesium, calcium, iron and manganese ions are exchanged with sodium ions. Sodium ions are not harmful to humans or animals. So the iron, calcium and manganese are pulled out of the water, resulting in cleaner water.
After a while, the resin cylinder is saturated. When this is the case, it is time for the automatic regeneration process. The first step in the regeneration process is to create brine. The de-icing plant is equipped with a salt reservoir. Water is put into the salt reservoir to create brine water. When there is enough brine water in the plant, the brine water is flushed through the resin cylinder. The brine water is flushed away through the drain. To ensure this, the plant rinses one more time with clean water to remove the last salt residues. After regeneration, the softener is again ready to treat groundwater.

Frequently Asked Questions
Peeters Technical Solutions’ de-ironing systems are made of high-quality and durable products.
In addition, the resin in the filter mass also remains highly effective over the long term.
For installation of the de-ironing systems we use a number of regular partners with knowledge of their field.
Should you wish to install the installation yourself, this is also possible.
The entire installation can be delivered as a “do-it-yourself package” and is quite easy to install.
This depends on two factors: your water consumption and the quality of your water.
For water consumption we need your input, for water quality we do a free well water analysis on site to determine what the iron and lime levels are.
An ion exchanger is very efficient at removing iron, lime and manganese from your groundwater.
In addition, the de-ironing system regenerates automatically so you don’t have to pay much attention to it.
All you need to do is add salt to the reservoir once in a while.
In addition, our control valves are designed to minimize pressure loss.
Since groundwater contains many other substances, there are a number of quality requirements and standards associated with drinking water for animals.
These limits have been established by GD Animal Health. Click here for the limit values.
Our main partners are J&A Watertechniek and Garden Water.
You can request a quote from either party to commission Peeters Technical Solutions’ de-ironing systems.
